To be responsible for the health and care of our animals for as long as it takes to find them the loving, permanent homes they deserve.
Hi, I’m Gabby!
Hi, I’m Gabby! I’ve known since I was a little girl that one day I would have an animal rescue of my own. Before I became a mom and started homeschooling my five young children, I worked as a veterinary assistant. My very first job at 16 was at the local pet store- so you can see that I have always had a love for animals, and a passion for their care and well-being. I founded Gabby’s Animal Rescue to make sure animals have a place where they are loved and cared for in a safe environment until they can find a forever home. A dog or cat at Gabby’s Animal Rescue is part of the family! I receive animals from over-capacity county shelters, or who are abandoned or given up directly by their owners as surrenders. I provide the animals a loving place to recover and rest with the help of my network of amazing volunteer foster families. We make sure all the animals are well nourished and have plenty of space to run, play, and receive training. We often have to nurse animals back to health or take care of very young animals who have been abandoned and work with our foster moms to help with bottle feeding and daily medication.
I’m dedicated to finding them permanent homes where they will become part of their forever family, and receive all the love, care, and attention that they need and deserve.
This work would not be possible without the support of my family. My wonderful husband never says no when it comes to helping an animal in need. Our children all pitch in helping me care for our animals- cleaning kennels, giving them medication, and talking them on walks. Caring for animals and giving them a second chance teaches my children so much about life and the importance of compassion.
I feel so blessed to be able to do this work, and it wouldn’t be possible without your support. Many thanks from my family to yours!
