Cotton was transferred into our rescue from our local city shelter. He was brought in as a stray. He was only 5 weeks old, too young to be left alone at the shelter and too young to be adopted. The shelter asked if we could take him, and we said yes. My 10-year-old son was his 'foster dad'. He has been taking care of Cotton since.
